Definite Hiatus until end of year.

Well, it seems that I have set to do this at the wrong time.  I have the want and some supplies, but until I get my own kitchen I'm not going to get any of it done.  I start out but it gets taken over or I'm yelled at for messing up the kitchen. So Unfortunately this blog is going on serious hiatus until I find a place where I'm comfortable to do this.  Hopefully that will be by the end of the year.  I have two more steps to having a job, and then I will work on building my house. others have gotten the building done in 3 to 5 months. so with a steady income I can hopefully stay with in those months.  Give myself a Christmas present of my own space and Kitchen.  I'm sorry about it all, but if I get more things and supplies I will put them up here for sure. never thought that I would end up in a spot where it was hard sharing a kitchen of all rooms.  HEH.

Bought some Tools while in San Francisco.

I went to visit my friend I January.  She lives in Richmond across the bay from SF. We went into San Francisco for a couple of the days, and when we went to Japan town I bought an egg pan and a mini wok. I've been plying with the egg pan and have found the right way to bake the egg so that it can be rolled. I still haven't gotten the hang of the mini wok just yet. Hopefully soon I will have a good post for this one. I got an Extership that I will need to start making lunch for. So hopefully I will get into my crock-pot, and start more with the Bento.

Well, I had set this blog up for incentive to push forward with wanting to learn how to cook with a crock-pot, and learn Bento.

Yeah, obviously I was bad and didn't get to try to many things.  There were to many things I just let get in the way.  Well today is a new Year and hopefully I WILL start.  I don't really have a kitchen to do this in.  I told myself that I would clean the one here in my Family home and make a space, but it just didn't happen.  There have also been some territorial issues when it comes to things in that Kitchen too. So I'm going to look into either just pushing myself a space, or just work on getting my own space with a kitchen.  Hopefully I can get some things done before Summer.

OK, here we go!!

So a couple of weeks ago I was walking through Hastings and found A Crock-pot cookbook. There are a couple of them in the house; I just haven't tried it yet. Think I'll look through and make a shopping list to try this week.  I have also been interested and reading up on Bentos for about a year now. I just haven't bought any of the books I've looked at, but this weekend I went to Borders and they had two of the cutest Bento boxes for sale.  

I decided that I just should get them since they are microwave and Dishwasher safe. 

So now I guess I'm going to have to go through all the book stores, and see if I can find a good Bento cookbook. 

I hope to have this blog as motivation to work on these two skills I want so badly. Wish me luck please.
